河北省河北正定中學(xué)定位“千年傳承，百年名�！�，是一所石家莊市教育局直接管理的河北省重點(diǎn)中學(xué)，分設(shè)校本部、東校區(qū)，均設(shè)于國(guó)家歷史文化名城正定城內(nèi)。校本部校址為原清代貢院，今府西街80號(hào)；東校區(qū)位于正定恒山東路190號(hào)，是一所全新建成的學(xué)校。河北正定中學(xué)是一所具有千年文化教育傳承的百年名校，1902年(清光緒二十八年)，具有近兩千年歷史的正定府學(xué)、恒陽(yáng)書(shū)院合并改建為官立正定府中學(xué)堂，是直隸省(時(shí)含今北京、天津，1928年6月改稱(chēng)河北省)最早建立的七所普通中學(xué)之一，開(kāi)正定府地區(qū)(今石家莊市轄區(qū)大部及阜平縣)近代新式教育先河。正中自1997年以來(lái)，許多畢業(yè)生繼續(xù)攻讀碩博，獲得博士學(xué)位的保守估計(jì)當(dāng)有兩三千人之多，學(xué)成就業(yè)，從政從軍成為骨干棟梁，從教科文成為專(zhuān)家學(xué)者。百年正中培育的學(xué)子，桃李芬芳遍天下。
